Our Standards:

Lawyers in our network must maintain $3,000 of aggregate professional liability insurance if required in their state, or the state mandated minimums proved with a certificate.
Our legal plan lawyers are also required to maintain $100,000 per incident liability insurance.
Legal services must be provided to prepaid plan members at rates specified in the fee schedule section of our member guidebook. This means you always know what you’ll be paying upfront and there are no unpleasant surprises.
The lawyers must maintain an office for the practice of law and be regularly engaged in practicing law within their state in order to become part of our network.

The Florida Bar

Recorded history of the bar in Florida dates from 1889.
The Florida Bar is the organization of all lawyers licensed by the Supreme Court of Florida to practice law in the state.
The Florida Bar’s core functions are to: Regulate the practice of law in Florida; ensure the highest standards of legal professionalism in Florida; and protect the public by prosecuting unethical attorneys and preventing the unlicensed practice of law.
The Florida Bar protects the public by prosecuting unethical attorneys, and investigating and prosecuting the unlicensed practice of law.
Only those persons licensed to practice law in Florida who have paid annual membership fee or dues for the current year and who are not retired, resigned, delinquent, inactive, or suspended members shall be deemed in good standing.
