Our Standards:

Lawyers in our network must maintain $3,000 of aggregate professional liability insurance if required in their state, or the state mandated minimums proved with a certificate.
Our legal plan lawyers are also required to maintain $100,000 per incident liability insurance.
Legal services must be provided to prepaid plan members at rates specified in the fee schedule section of our member guidebook. This means you always know what you’ll be paying upfront and there are no unpleasant surprises.
The lawyers must maintain an office for the practice of law and be regularly engaged in practicing law within their state in order to become part of our network.

For 125 years, the Maryland State Bar Association has been the home of the legal profession. Their members have built a legacy of service, leadership, and connection.
The Attorney Grievance Commission oversees the conduct of both Maryland attorneys and nonmembers of the Maryland Bar who engage in the practice of law in the State.
