Our Standards:

Lawyers in our network must maintain $3,000 of aggregate professional liability insurance if required in their state, or the state mandated minimums proved with a certificate.
Our legal plan lawyers are also required to maintain $100,000 per incident liability insurance.
Legal services must be provided to prepaid plan members at rates specified in the fee schedule section of our member guidebook. This means you always know what you’ll be paying upfront and there are no unpleasant surprises.
The lawyers must maintain an office for the practice of law and be regularly engaged in practicing law within their state in order to become part of our network.

Minnesota has a court system with trial courts (District and County) and appellate courts (Court of Appeals and Supreme Court) that handle both criminal and civil cases. It also has specialized courts like Tax Court and Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals. Lawyers are regulated by the Minnesota Board of Law Examiners and the Minnesota Supreme Court. The system aims to provide fair and impartial justice to all residents.
