Our Standards:

Lawyers in our network must maintain $3,000 of aggregate professional liability insurance if required in their state, or the state mandated minimums proved with a certificate.
Our legal plan lawyers are also required to maintain $100,000 per incident liability insurance.
Legal services must be provided to prepaid plan members at rates specified in the fee schedule section of our member guidebook. This means you always know what you’ll be paying upfront and there are no unpleasant surprises.
The lawyers must maintain an office for the practice of law and be regularly engaged in practicing law within their state in order to become part of our network.

Utah State Bar

In January, 1894, a group of prominent Utah Territory attorneys gathered in the Federal court building in Salt Lake City to develop the “organization, constitution and bylaws” to govern the practice of law in the Utah Territory.
The Utah State Bar is an organization of Utah’s 12,000 lawyers and judges.
The Bar envisions its role as leading society in the creation of a justice system that is understood, valued, respected and accessible to all.
The Utah Law and Justice Center was built not only as a place to house the Utah State Bar but also to provide a gathering place for the community in such a way as to organize and nurture law-related educational, charitable, and community services.
